America Nails
This is my first American flag nail design! My first three fingers are blue with white stars, that I first outlined using a Sally Hansen nail pen, and then used a striping brush to fill in. For the others, I used a base coat of red while using my striping brush to create thick white stars.

The Best Way to Dot
From experimenting with different kinds of brushes, I've found that the best way to create dots is with a toothpick. Simply put several drops of paint onto some scrap paper, dip your toothpick into the paint, and create dots throughout the nail! This technique can be done with dots of all the same size or, as I prefer, dots of different sizes. It is a very useful technique for nail art. This is the simplest way to create nice dots using materials most have at home! Here's a picture of black and white nails done using this technique...

Flyers Nails
During the Flyers' trip to the Stanley Cup, I decided to try and do Flyer's nails. The background is Crushed by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear, with Black Out and White On by the same brand used to do the logo. I did this design by first outlining the logo with the black nail polish. I filled it in, and then added the circle and lines inside of the black with white polish. I then outlined the outside of the shape with white polish and filled in the white circle with the same orange nail polish used for the background.
